Kia EV5 Unveiled with Groundbreaking Features
【Summary】Kia has unveiled its new EV5, which takes design cues from the larger EV9. The compact electric vehicle features dramatic LED lighting, a digital 'Tiger Face' grille, and unique Signature Star Map Lighting. It also boasts flush-fitting door handles, wide shoulder lines, and powerful fenders. The taillights stretch across the body, and the car comes in a range of glossy and matte colors.
Inspired by the interplay between natural landscapes and contemporary architecture, the EV5 is a distinct model that shares similarities with the Sportage and the EV9. Its design features include dramatic LED lighting that wraps around the upright front fascia and below the hood. Instead of a traditional grille, the EV5 boasts Kia's digital 'Tiger Face' and three-dimensional Signature Star Map Lighting, which draws inspiration from star-studded constellations. The EV5 also inherits flush-fitting door handles and a rising beltline from the C-pillar, along with wide shoulder lines, powerful fenders, and pushed-back D-pillars.
Unlike the EV9, the taillights of the EV5 stretch almost entirely across the body, rather than being positioned high up alongside the back window. Additionally, the EV5 is equipped with a lowered spoiler and a skid plate positioned lower down. The EV5 will be available in nine glossy colors and one matte shade, allowing customers to choose a finish that suits their preferences.
