Kia is celebrating the recognition of the EV6 as The North American Utility Vehicle Of The Year by introducing a special edition. This limited edition EV6, named the 2023 Kia EV6 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition, stands out with its long name and green color.
The limited edition EV6 was showcased at Pebble Beach and is based on a unique combination of the Wind and GT-Line trims. Its exterior features a Deep Forest Green paint, blacked-out wheel arches, side treatments, and front and rear facias, along with 20-inch wheels.
Inside, the limited edition EV6 offers Desert Beige-colored seating, complemented by a special North American Utility Of The Year plaque near the rotary dial shifter. Kia states that this combination of green exterior paint and beige seating pays homage to classic performance vehicle styling combinations. The vehicle also comes equipped with the usual tech and driver safety assistance features as standard.
Powering the limited edition EV6 is a 77.4 kWh battery combined with a 74 kWh front motor and a 165 kWh rear motor, resulting in a total combined output of 320 horsepower. Although the range has not been specified, it is expected to be similar to the EV6 GT-Line, which offers 252 miles of range with its identical powertrain, battery, and horsepower output.
Kia has not disclosed the pricing details yet, but it is anticipated to start around or exceed $60,000. As there will only be 1,000 units of the North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition available for sale later this year, interested buyers should act quickly to secure one.
