Lexus Expands UK Line-up with Powerful Luxury Vehicle

Lexus is introducing a new model, the LM, to its UK line-up, focusing on supreme luxury. The self-charging hybrid electric MPV will be available to order now, with customer deliveries starting in the fourth quarter of this year. The automaker describes the LM as a "luxury mover" that embodies Lexus omotenashi hospitality.

The addition of the LM and the LBX "breakthrough crossover" in 2024 will give Lexus its strongest model range in the UK, covering SUVs, saloons, sports models, and people carriers.

The LM was designed to offer a dual personality, providing a relaxing living space while also serving as a flexible, mobile office for those who need to work on the go. Two versions of the LM are offered, with four or seven seats. The seven-seat model prioritizes the middle row of two VIP seats, while the four-seat Takumi model is the pinnacle of luxury.

The interior of the LM embodies Lexus's vision of "making luxury personal". Seats are designed for support and comfort, and the cabin environment is precisely controlled for temperature, air quality, and lighting. Multiple connectivity and entertainment options are easily accessible, including a bespoke Mark Levinson 3D Surround Sound audio system and a 48-inch HD ultra-widescreen monitor in the four-seat model.

The LM offers a perfectly smooth, quiet, and composed ride, with every aspect of its engineering contributing to comfort. It is built on Lexus's GA-K global passenger car platform, providing a low center of gravity and high body rigidity. Lexus has also developed a new Rear Comfort drive mode, improved braking and body control systems, and refined suspension performance to enhance the driving experience.

Three versions of the LM are available: the seven-seat LM with front or all-wheel drive, and the top-specification LM Takumi with two rear seats.
