Mercedes-AMG has announced the launch of the upgraded Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE 4-Door Coupé. Priced at 207,708.55 euros, the updated model features several new design elements. The front end stands out with a wider air intake below the AMG-specific radiator grille and vertical air ducts integrated into the front apron.
Standard features now include an electric sunroof and a wireless smartphone charger between the rear seats. The digital multimedia system MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) has been updated with redesigned displays and individually configurable functions. The car also offers a new sound experience with the Burmester® Surround Sound System or the optional Burmester® High-End 3D Surround Sound System featuring Dolby Atmos®.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE comes with standard equipment such as the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission, AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, and AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with adaptive adjustment damping. It also includes the AMG high-performance ceramic composite braking system, active rear axle steering, and MULTIBEAM LED main headlights.
Customers can now choose Opalite White Metallic as a new body color option. The wheel and upholstery ranges remain unchanged. The car offers a wide range of customization options, including the AMG Aerodynamics package, AMG Carbon package exterior, AMG chrome package exterior, AMG Night package exterior, AMG Night package II, MANUFAKTUR Selenite Grey Magno, Active Multicontour Seat package, AMG Performance seats, Burmester® High-End 3D Surround Sound System, and High-Class Rear Seats package.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE stands out with its unique powertrain, combining superior performance and driving dynamics with maximum efficiency. The combination of a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine on the front axle and an electric motor on the rear axle generates a system output of 620 kW (843 PS) and a maximum system torque of 1,400 Nm. The electric drive ensures instant response, rapid torque development, and improved weight distribution for an exhilarating driving experience.
