The new Lexus LBX SUV/Crossover is now available for pre-sale in the UK, starting at a price of £29,995. Full pricing and specifications will be announced in October.

With the discontinuation of the Lexus CT, the entry-level Lexus model has been replaced by the Lexus UX. However, there has been another change.

Introduced in June, the new Lexus LBX is Lexus' version of the Toyota Yaris Cross and serves as the starting point for the Lexus experience. Lexus has now announced that pre-sales are open, with prices starting at £29,995.

The LBX is powered by a new 1.5-litre full hybrid powertrain and is available in 2WD, with a 4WD option to be introduced later. There is a wide range of trim levels and options to choose from. It is worth noting that the price can exceed £40,000 depending on the selected features, although Lexus has not yet provided specific pricing details for higher-spec models.

Lexus offers a variety of choices with six different grades available: Urban, Premium, Premium Plus, Premium Plus Design, Takumi, and Takumi Design. Additionally, there are five different 'atmospheres' to choose from: Elegant, Relax, Emotion, Cool, and LBX. Furthermore, there will be a limited production run of 250 Original Edition models.

The entry-level UBX Urban model includes features such as 17" alloys, LED headlights with automatic high beam, Lexus Link Connect with a 9.8" screen, climate control, smartphone integration, rear-view camera, and parking sensors. The LBX Premium model adds Tahara upholstery, privacy glass, wireless phone charging, additional safety features like Blind Spot and Safe Exit, auto wipers, and ambient lighting.

The LBX Premium Plus model offers high-gloss 18" alloys, a power tailgate, a 12.3" instrument panel, a head-up display (HUD), Smart Entry, and nanoe-X air purification. The Premium Plus Design model includes a bi-tone paint job, machined alloys, and perforated Tahara upholstery with red stitching.

The top-of-the-line UBX model is the Takumi, which features posh Mark Levinson Sound, semi-aniline leather, a powered driver's seat with memory function, multi-color ambient lighting, Intelligent Park Assist, and an Advanced Safety Pack. The Takumi Design model includes a bi-tone paint job, machined 18" alloys, and Ultrasuede and leather upholstery.

Lastly, there is a limited offer of 250 LBX Original Edition models, which come with matte black 18" wheels, bumper inserts, rear pillar details, and a Sonic Copper bi-tone finish.

Lexus is now accepting pre-orders for the LBX with a £500 reservation fee. Customers will be able to place proper orders and obtain pricing information in October.
