UK customers can now pre-order the Lexus LBX crossover, with prices starting at £29,995. The entry-level Urban model comes equipped with features such as 17in alloy wheels, LED headlights, a 9.8in infotainment touchscreen, and a rear-view camera.

In addition to the Urban model, there are five other grades available, although pricing for these has yet to be announced. The Premium grade offers heated front seats, rear privacy glass, blindspot monitoring, and more.

For those looking for even more luxury, the Premium Plus grade includes 18in alloy wheels, a powered bootlid, a 12.3in digital instrument display, a head-up display, and an air-purification system. The Premium Plus Design grade adds two-tone paintwork, machined alloy wheels, and perforated interior upholstery.

Takumi models take luxury to the next level with a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, upgraded leather upholstery, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, and additional driver-assistance systems. The Takumi Design grade includes the same bi-tone paintwork as the Premium cars, along with an Ultrasuede interior.

The LBX's launch line-up is completed by the Original Edition, which features copper two-tone paint and dedicated badging. Final pricing for the full range will be confirmed in early October, with deliveries set to begin in March 2024.

Lexus is targeting the premium crossover market with its smallest model yet, the new LBX. Designed specifically for the European market, the 'Lexus Breakthrough Crossover' shares Toyota's TNGA-B platform with the popular Yaris Cross.

"We're not trying to make a cheap car, we're trying to make a small car," said chief branding officer Simon Humphries in an interview with Autocar in June 2023.
