Car designers are known for their creativity and innovation, and it's no surprise that many of them have ventured into non-automotive merchandise. From bikes to boats, here are some of the craziest brand extensions that car designers have come up with.

Lotus has recently unveiled its new partnership with the Great Britain Cycling Team to design the racer for the 2024 Olympics. The Hope-Lotus bike is said to feature carbon fiber advances developed on the Evija electric supercar and the latest aerodynamic gains.

Polestar, the Swedish electric car manufacturer, has collaborated with Candela to create the C-8 Polestar edition hydrofoil speedboat. Powered by a 69kWh battery from a Polestar 2, the electric boat claims a range of 57 nautical miles and a cruising speed of 22 knots.

Aston Martin is taking brand extension to the next level with a waterside residence in Downtown Miami. Buyers of the luxury flats will receive a free DBX SUV as part of the deal.

Bugatti has partnered with Jacob & Co to create a watch that features a model W16 engine. The movement has 578 components, and when the right-hand crown is pressed, the crankshaft turns and the 16 pistons pump up and down.
