Luxury Features in Toyota's High-End Vehicle
【Summary】Toyota's most expensive vehicle, the Capstone edition of the Sequoia SUV, offers luxurious features and technological options. With a base price of nearly $80,000, this trim includes extras such as air suspension, making it comfortable and enjoyable for the driver and passengers.
Toyota, the best-selling auto brand in the United States, had a successful year in 2022 with almost two million vehicles sold. While models like the RAV4, Camry, and Corolla were the top sellers, Toyota also experienced strong sales in the truck and SUV categories with the Tacoma and Highlander, selling over 200,000 units of each domestically.
However, the full-sized Sequoia SUV was not as popular, only selling a little over 5,000 units in 2022. This could be attributed to its estimated fuel economy of 20 MPG and a base price of nearly $60,000. Despite its lower demand, Toyota offers a luxury trim version of the Sequoia called the "Capstone" edition.
The Capstone edition of the Sequoia comes with additional luxury features and technological options, making the already formidable SUV more comfortable and enjoyable for both the driver and passengers. These extras come at a price, with the base price of the Capstone edition reaching almost $80,000. If you opt for the available air suspension package, the cost will exceed that threshold due to all the features included in this trim.
