Maeving RM1S: A New High-Speed Innovation

Maeving is preparing to launch a new and improved version of its popular electric motorcycle, the RM1. The upgraded model, called the RM1S, was announced in a message sent to existing Maeving customers on August 22, 2023. According to the message, the RM1S will have a top speed of 65mph, which is 20mph faster than the standard model.

The message stated, "With a highway-capable top speed of 65mph, the RM1S is our fastest and most powerful electric motorcycle. Having previously expressed interest in a faster model, we wanted you to be the first to know about its upcoming launch." This news is sure to excite customers who have been eagerly awaiting a speedier version of the RM1.

However, for those who did not express interest in a faster model, there will be a slight delay in being able to pre-order the RM1S. They will have to wait a bit longer than the customers who received the message from Maeving.

The original Maeving RM1 was released last year as the company's debut model. It was designed with a retro-inspired look, aiming to evoke nostalgia for the motorcycle manufacturing heritage of the English Midlands, particularly Coventry where Maeving is based.

As for the newly announced RM1S, details about its features and specifications are still largely unknown. Apart from the increased top speed, little information has been revealed. It can be assumed that the higher speed will require more power and possibly more torque from the motor. However, it is unclear whether the RM1S will be lighter than the standard version or if there will be any other changes to its chassis.

Speculation suggests that there may also be visual changes to give the RM1S a more sporty appearance. However, until more information is released, everything apart from the top speed remains uncertain.

For those interested in the standard RM1 or wanting to learn more about Maeving's electric motorcycles, it is recommended to visit the Maeving website. Additionally, there is a review available for the Maeving RM1 (2022) Electric Motorcycle, which provides further insights into this futuristic bike.
