Modified Range Rover: Brabus Unveils Powerful 591bhp 4x4

Brabus, the German tuner known for its extravagant modifications, has unveiled its first-ever tuned Range Rover just in time for California's Car Week. While the modifications may be more subtle compared to their previous projects, the Brabus Range Rover still boasts massive wheels, new bumpers, and increased power. The front of the vehicle features a large bumper with air intakes on either side and a new front spoiler. The rear has been enhanced with an extended fascia, rear diffuser, spoiler, and four exhaust pipes. Brabus offers 20-spoke Monoblock wheels in 23in or 24in sizes, paired with Continental tires.

To improve the performance of the Range Rover, Brabus has made adjustments to the air suspension, lowering the ride height by 20mm with their 'SportXtra' module. Additionally, they have installed another module into the ECU, resulting in an extra 68bhp from the BMW-sourced 4.4-litre turbo V8 engine. The modified Range Rover now produces 591bhp and 664lb ft of torque, allowing for a 0-62mph time of 4.5 seconds. However, the top speed remains limited to 155mph.

While performance is important, the interior of the Range Rover also receives attention from Brabus. The tuner has added aluminum finishing for the pedals and footrest, as well as a highly customizable interior. The show car version of the Brabus Range Rover features pistachio quilted leather throughout, with black piping for contrast. The price of this show car is set at €388,000, but the final cost will depend on the customization options chosen by the buyer. How bold will you go with your Brabus 600 Rangie?
