New Camper Van For Europe

Ford of Europe is teasing a new camper van that is set to be unveiled on August 24. The company promises that this model will make outdoor trips an experience of a lifetime and will embrace the "VanLife" trend. While not much is revealed in the teaser videos, we can see that the van features a pop-up roof with a solar panel and a sliding side window. With the roof raised, there will be enough room to stand inside the van.

Inside the van, there are classy counters, a refrigerated drawer, zippered window coverings, and a rear touchscreen display for adjusting the color changing lighting system. There also appears to be a sink and an external shower head or washer. These features will surely appeal to VanLife enthusiasts.

Although Ford has not provided many details about the camper van, it is speculated that it could be the redesigned Transit Custom Nugget. The timing aligns with the introduction of the redesigned van last September, and the rear quarter glass indicates that the camper is based on the Transit Custom. More information about the model will likely be revealed at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon.

The Transit Custom is known for its range of powertrains, including EcoBlue diesels with outputs ranging from 108 hp to 168 hp. There are also plug-in hybrid and electric variants available. Stay tuned for full details about Ford's new camper van.
