Porsche 911 S/T Puma Sneakers: The Must-Have Car-Themed Shoes

Porsche is celebrating its 75th anniversary as a brand, and in addition to that, they are also commemorating the 60th anniversary of the iconic 911 sports car. To mark this milestone, Porsche has introduced the Porsche 911 S/T and released two sneaker designs.

The Porsche 911 S/T is a lightweight car that draws inspiration from the 1972 911 S. It features a naturally-aspirated flat-six engine from the 911 GT3 RS, coupled with a manual gearbox that boasts shorter ratios and a single-mass flywheel. This combination results in an exhilarating driving experience.

In tribute to the classic 911 S 2.5, Porsche Design has unveiled the Puma Retro Sneaker. This shoe is designed to resemble the 911 S 2.5, with its light blue exterior, retro-grille-bad hangtag design, and the number 56 on the heel. The number 56 pays homage to the Porsche 911 that participated in GT racing in 1972. Although it didn't have the S/T name at the time, it was the first to incorporate "S" special racing components. The red-orange laces of the sneaker give it a distinctive Gulf Oil livery look.
