Nine individuals are currently receiving medical care in a hospital after a car collided with a bus stop in Aldwych, located in central London.

Reports were made to the police at 3.35am on Sunday regarding a Range Rover that had struck multiple pedestrians who were waiting at the bus stop in Aldwych.

According to the ambulance service, three of the injured individuals were transported to major trauma centers, while the others were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

A man in his twenties has been apprehended on suspicion of dangerous driving and has also been taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

The Metropolitan Police have stated that the incident is currently not being treated as an act of terrorism.

A spokesperson for the police stated, "At approximately 3.35am on 29 October, the police received reports of a car colliding with a number of pedestrians at a bus stop in Aldwych. The London Ambulance Service promptly arrived at the scene and confirmed that eight pedestrians were transported to the hospital for treatment."
