Renaming of Former Continental Russia Plant
【Summary】The former Continental Russia plant has been renamed LLC Cordiant Kaluga after being acquired by S8 Capital. The new company will focus on tyre production at the Kaluga plant.
Following the acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia by S8 Capital, the tyre manufacturing facility in Kaluga has been given a new name. The facility, previously known as LLC Continental Kaluga, will now be called LLC Cordiant Kaluga. This change in legal name became effective on 17 August 2023.
Under its new name, LLC Cordiant Kaluga will primarily focus on tyre production at the former Continental plant in Kaluga. Located approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow, the facility will play a crucial role in meeting the demand for tyres in the region.
