The newly appointed chief, Emmanuel Al-Nawakil, has a proven track record of leading companies to growth. Prior to that, he achieved impressive sales momentum at Germany-based Volkswagen Group and France-based Groupe PSA.

Renault Korea expects Al-Nawakil to bring his wealth of global experience and sales expertise to his role at the company. They believe he will be able to navigate the dynamic landscape of the Korean market and steer the business toward becoming a thriving automotive tech company.

In addition to Al-Nawakil's appointment, Renault Korea has made efforts to transform its sales and marketing organization. They have invited four marketing experts from the industry to join the team. These experts are expected to bring a new wave of innovation to the Korean market.

The carmaker aims to conduct a comprehensive revamp of its commercial strategy to better respond to market demand. As part of this strategy, they have appointed Lim Dong-kun as the product strategy operations chief, Ha Eun-young as the brand strategy operations chief, Lee Won-seon as the marketing communications operations chief, and Park Hae-jung as the performance and e-commerce operations chief.

Renault Korea CEO Stephane Deblaise expressed his excitement about the new sales and marketing leadership team. He acknowledged the challenges the company has faced recently and believes that the team will strengthen the company's brand position in the market. Deblaise is confident that Renault Korea Motors will regain its competitive edge and accelerate its journey toward becoming a thriving automotive tech company.
