Rolls-Royce Crash: Kuber Group Director's Involvement in Investigation Questioned

The Nuh police has issued a notice to Vikas Malu, the director of Kuber Group, to join the investigation into a car accident on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway in Haryana. The accident involved a truck and a Rolls-Royce car, resulting in the death of two people. This notice was issued a day after the police formed a special investigation team (SIT) to look into the case. New evidence suggests that the luxury car rear-ended the fuel truck while speeding.

Three people, including Vikas Malu, were in the Rolls-Royce at the time of the accident. Malu has also been seriously injured. His advocate, Rajesh Kumar Thakur, confirmed the notice and stated that Malu will join the investigation once he is discharged from the hospital, which is expected to be in a week.

Thakur, the advocate, holds the truck driver responsible for the accident, claiming that the driver took an illegal U-turn that caused the collision. He said, "The truck driver is at fault for the accident because he took an illegal U-turn which ultimately caused the collision," in an interview with news agency ANI.

When asked about Malu's involvement in the accident, Thakur clarified that Malu was not driving the car. He stated, "He was in the Rolls-Royce car but he was not driving, his driver was driving the car. They were going to Jaipur and three people were there in the car on August 22."

Thakur also denied that the car was over-speeding, stating that it was within the prescribed speed limit. He explained, "No, it was not over 100-120 km/hour, which was the prescribed limit of speed there. That car was for a test drive. Vikas Malu took that car and the driver was driving as he was an expert in driving luxury cars. So prior to purchasing that car, Vikas Malu took a test drive. Vikas Malu was sitting there in the car and watching the performance of the car."

It is worth noting that Vikas Malu has recently been in the spotlight for another matter. His second wife, Saanvi Malu, accused him of murdering actor Satish Kaushik. She wrote to the Delhi Police Commissioner regarding this issue. Kaushik died on March 9 at Vikas Malu's farmhouse in Delhi, while on his way to the hospital after feeling unconscious.
