Suzuki Swift facelift unveiled at Tokyo Motor Show

Suzuki is set to showcase a range of new vehicles and concepts at the upcoming 2023 Tokyo Motor Show. One of the highlights will be the new Suzuki Swift, which is expected to offer subtle design changes compared to the current model. With a new grille design, fresh headlights, and unique features like a two-tone roof and black door mirrors, the facelifted supermini is set to make a statement.

In addition to the Swift, Suzuki will also unveil an updated version of the eVX, an electric car concept that was previously showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 in India. This 4.3m-long EV is said to have evolved in terms of design and will feature an interior reveal at the Tokyo show. Suzuki promises a true SUV driving experience with its electronically-controlled 4x4 technologies.

Another interesting vehicle in Suzuki's lineup is the eWX, a small electric concept car that meets Japan's stringent Kei car regulations. With compact dimensions and a light and user-friendly cabin space, the eWX aims to support people's daily lives. Suzuki claims a range of 230km (143 miles) for this model.

Suzuki will also showcase a series of Kei car concepts, including the Spacia Concept, Spacia Custom Concept, and the e EVERY CONCEPT, a battery-electric van developed in collaboration with Toyota. The e EVERY CONCEPT features vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and offers a claimed range of 124 miles.

Aside from these vehicles, Suzuki will present a range of mobility solutions, including a motorized wheelchair and the four-legged MOQBA, which is capable of climbing steps. The brand will also showcase prototype mopeds and the Suzuki GO!, a joystick-operated rideable walking frame.

With its diverse lineup of vehicles and concepts, Suzuki is demonstrating its commitment to a carbon-neutral future and offering innovative solutions for mobility.
