Tanker collides with luxury car in Haryana, truck fatalities and car occupants survive
【Summary】Two people died when an oil tanker collided with a Rolls-Royce on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway near Gurugram. The luxury car caught fire, but all five occupants were rescued. The tanker driver and his helper were killed, while the three occupants of the car were injured and are receiving treatment at a hospital in Gurugram. The police are investigating the incident and will register an FIR after recording the statements of the injured.
An unfortunate accident occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway near Gurugram, resulting in the death of an oil tanker driver and his helper. Additionally, three occupants of a Rolls-Royce were injured in the collision between the heavy vehicle and the luxury car. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon when the tanker, driving on the wrong side, collided with the car near Umri village under Nagina police station limits.
After the collision, the limousine caught fire, but luckily, all five occupants were rescued by their relatives who were following closely in another car. However, the tanker driver, Rampreet, and his helper, Kuldeep, both residents of Uttar Pradesh, lost their lives in the crash.
The three injured occupants of the luxury car have been identified as Divya and Tasbir, residents of Chandigarh, and Vikas, a resident of Delhi. They are currently receiving treatment at Gurugram's Medanta Hospital.
Upon receiving information about the accident, the police promptly arrived at the scene. Assistant Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar, the investigating officer, stated that an FIR will be registered after recording the statements of the injured individuals. Furthermore, the family members of the accident victims have been notified about the tragic incident.
