Tesla Cybertruck Pre-Orders Exceed 2 Million
【Summary】Tesla's Cybertruck has received over 2 million pre-orders, making it the most pre-ordered vehicle ever. The first deliveries are expected to start in the next two weeks, after a long wait due to delays caused by the pandemic and geopolitical tensions. The unique design and anticipation among consumers have contributed to the high demand. Tesla will be busy in production for the next four years to meet the orders, which could potentially generate $152.10 billion in revenue.
Tesla Cybertruck pre-orders have surpassed 2 million, according to crowdsourcing data. The highly anticipated pickup truck was unveiled in late 2019, and the first deliveries are expected to begin in a few weeks.
Tesla customers are eagerly awaiting the start of Cybertruck deliveries, which could happen at any moment. Elon Musk previously stated that the first deliveries were scheduled for Q3 2023, indicating that the long-awaited event may occur within the next two weeks.
In recent months, there has been a significant increase in the number of Cybertrucks spotted on US roads. Additionally, earlier this week, a Tesla employee informed a customer that deliveries would commence in a few days. However, the employee later clarified that these were personal guesses and not related to the company's official plans. Nevertheless, this suggests that the highly anticipated event is imminent, as even Tesla employees believe so.
As the start of Cybertruck deliveries approaches, consumer confidence continues to grow. According to a crowdsourced online pickup truck reservation tracker, reservations for the unique steel beast have exceeded 2 million. This unprecedented number of pre-orders highlights Tesla's distinctiveness and its bold design choices. The company took the risk of creating a vehicle that stands out from everything else on the road, and it seems that the gamble has paid off.
Cybertruck was initially announced in November 2019, but its production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused economic disruptions for two years. Additionally, a tense geopolitical situation further exacerbated economic uncertainty. However, despite these challenges, consumer desire to own a Cybertruck has only grown. With the current number of orders, Tesla will be busy producing the Cybertruck for the next four years just to meet the demand.
According to a recent update, estimated pre-orders for the Cybertruck have reached a staggering 2,011,136, with a potential revenue of $152.10 billion. This represents an increase of 12,675 pre-orders since last week. The Cybertruck has become the most pre-ordered vehicle ever, further solidifying Tesla's success in the market.
