Apple Shortcuts have just become even more convenient for Tesla owners. In the latest version (4.24.0) of the Tesla mobile app for iOS, support for Apple Shortcuts has been added. Shortcuts is a free app that comes pre-installed on iPhones and iPads, allowing users to set up time-saving settings for various actions. These shortcuts can be accessed with a tap or by using Siri, Apple's digital assistant.

There are currently 15 pre-set shortcuts available for Tesla owners, but users also have the option to create their own shortcuts and chain multiple actions into one shortcut. Some of the available shortcuts include locking and unlocking the vehicle, starting preconditioning, enabling or disabling Sentry and Dog mode, opening and closing the charging port, boot, and bonnet, among others.

Once a shortcut is set up, it can be accessed by simply talking to Siri or by adding it to the Home Screen for even easier access. The Shortcuts app also allows users to create Automations, which enable shortcuts to be triggered based on certain conditions, such as arriving at a specific location or at a certain time of day.

To take advantage of this new functionality, Tesla owners using iOS should update their Tesla app to the latest version.
