Tokyo: The Japan Motor Show, formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show, is currently taking place in Tokyo until November 5, 2023. This biennial event has over 400 companies, brands, and businesses participating, marking its return after a four-year hiatus.

The focus of the show is on carmakers, who are not only showcasing car models but also presenting technologies that will shape the future of transportation. With the exception of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and BYD, all the major Japanese car brands are represented, with Toyota leading the way.

Toyota has adopted a comprehensive and diverse approach to the issue of electrification. Instead of pursuing a one-size-fits-all solution, the car giant is tailoring its offerings to the specific needs of different markets, providing practical and meaningful solutions.

It remains to be seen whether this strategy will be successful in the long run. In the meantime, Toyota and its luxury brand Lexus have unveiled an exciting lineup of car models at the Japan Mobility Show, which are expected to make waves in the coming months and years.

Here are some of the car models displayed by Toyota and Lexus at the Japan Mobility Show:
