Toyota Japan has recently unveiled the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition of the GR86. Although this special edition won't be available in the USA, there's no need to feel disappointed. The reason being that in 2024, America will be receiving its very own Trueno Edition model.
In light of the fact that the iconic Hachi-Roku AE86 Corolla is commemorating its 40th year this year, it only made sense to release a special edition model for its successor, the GR86.
The 40th Anniversary Limited Edition is based on the RZ trim, which is equivalent to the top-spec Premium model in Japan. Customers can choose between a white or red exterior, both of which are adorned with decals reminiscent of the classic red/black and white/black two-tone colors that distinguished the Hachi-Roku from its siblings.
