Toyota's latest Alphard/Vellfire iteration
【Summary】Toyota has launched the new generation of its Alphard/Vellfire luxury van, featuring a hybrid powertrain, all-wheel-drive, and advanced safety features. The van boasts a 2.5-liter engine coupled with an electric motor, delivering 250hp and an average fuel economy of 17.9kpl. The Alphard showcases a private jet-inspired design, while the Vellfire sports a more aggressive exterior.
Toyota has introduced the latest version of its Alphard/Vellfire luxury van, which now comes with a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel-drive. The new model also features the latest version of Toyota Safety Sense.
Under the hood, the Alphard/Vellfire is equipped with a 2.5-litre Dual VVT-I engine coupled with an electric motor, resulting in a combined power output of 250hp. According to the official Eco Sticker, the vehicle has an average fuel economy of 17.9kpl.
In terms of design, the Alphard boasts a private jet-inspired theme, complete with LED lights, a powered tailgate, and a choice of 17-inch or 19-inch wheels depending on the variant. On the other hand, the Vellfire sports a more aggressive exterior design and a black interior.
Inside the van, the second-row seats are equipped with 10-way power adjustment, ventilation, and massage functions, all of which can be controlled using a detachable tablet. Additional features include a twin moonroof, 64-colour illumination, and premium nappa leather upholstery.
To enhance the entertainment experience, the Alphard/Vellfire is equipped with a 14-inch centre touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay. The vehicle also features a 12.3-inch instrument display and a total of 15 JBL loudspeakers. Rear passengers can enjoy a 14-inch screen located in the super-long overhead console.
