Used car price increases this month: Shock model leads the way

In recent times, there has been a lot of news about the decreasing prices of used electric vehicles (EVs) and which models are experiencing the most significant value drops. Tesla Model X, Audi e-tron, and Jaguar I-Pace have all seen substantial decreases in value over the past year. However, the situation is quite different for traditionally-powered used cars.
According to Auto Trader's latest Retail Price Index, used car retail prices have been rising for 41 consecutive months. This indicates a positive trend in the used car market. Using the same data, we can now identify the used cars that have experienced the most significant value increases this month.
Looking at the figures for cars sold in the month ending August 20, the Peugeot Partner Teepee stands out as the model with the highest value increase, with a year-on-year rise of 17.1%. The top 10 list is mainly comprised of small and affordable cars such as the Fiat Panda, Volkswagen Beetle, and Hyundai i30.
Other models that made it to the list include the Volkswagen up!, Citroen Berlingo, and Hyundai i10. The only premium brand model to appear on the list is the Mercedes SL Class. Below is the full list of the top 10 used cars that have experienced the biggest rise in value this month:
