Audi is set to revolutionize its interior designs with the launch of the new Q6 E-tron SUV. The German automaker is adopting a 'human-centric' arrangement that prioritizes digital functionality and ease of use. This move is part of Audi's wider strategy to make a significant impact on the premium electric car market.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV will be the main rival of the Q6 E-tron when it hits the market later this year. Audi unveiled the interior of the Q6 E-tron at the 2023 Munich motor show, setting the stage for its upcoming launch.

The Q6 E-tron is the first car to utilize Audi's new PPE EV platform, allowing for new packaging possibilities and introducing a fresh electronic architecture. This enables Audi to completely reimagine its digital interfaces and enhance the overall user experience.

Head of design Marc Lichte emphasized the brand's focus on meeting the real-world needs of drivers and passengers. By considering the interior as the center of customers' lives and experiences, Audi is challenging the status quo and designing the vehicle from the inside out.

Practicality is also a key aspect of the Q6 E-tron. It offers 526 liters of boot space, which can be expanded to 1529 liters with the rear seats folded down. Additionally, there is a 64-liter front trunk (frunk) specifically designed for charging cables and small luggage. The absence of a transmission tunnel creates more legroom and a comfortable middle seat.

The Q6 E-tron features a curved, panoramic display measuring 14.5 inches, along with an 11.9-inch digital cockpit. The front passengers have their own screen integrated into the dashboard, measuring 10.9 inches, which allows them to set navigation routes and select music.

When it comes to materials, Audi has incorporated softwrap materials in the cockpit and on the center console, using sustainable materials. The instrument panel can be customized with wood or brushed aluminum. Both the driver and passenger have access to a cupholder, two USB charging ports, and a wireless charging pad.
