2025 MINI Electric Vehicle Spotted with Potential 250 Horsepower

The electric MINI Cooper JCW has been spotted, showcasing a more aggressive front bumper and a distinct rear end. MINI is fully embracing an electric future, even within their performance-oriented John Cooper Works sub-brand. The JCW variant stands out with its new front bumper and a sportier intake featuring a split design and a horizontal bar.

As we move towards the back of the car, we can see chunky side skirts and flush-mounted door handles. These are complemented by a sloping roof and turning fork style wheels with a two-tone design. The overall look is both stylish and dynamic.

In the electric era, high-performance variants can no longer be distinguished by exhaust tips. MINI has therefore opted for a more aggressive rear bumper and a lightly revised diffuser with vertical accents to set the JCW apart. Additionally, a revised spoiler and taller reflectors contribute to the sporty appearance.

While spy photographers were unable to capture the interior, MINI recently unveiled the cabin of the standard model. It boasts a minimalist design, with a prominent circular display measuring 9.4 inches (240 mm) in diameter. This display, running on the Android-based MINI Operating System 9, combines the functions of a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment system. It also offers extensive customization options and introduces a new voice assistant represented by a dog avatar.

MINI has already confirmed the specifications for the Cooper E, which includes a 40.7 kWh battery pack and an electric motor producing 181 hp (135 kW / 184 PS). The Cooper SE will surpass these figures with a larger 54.2 kWh battery and a more powerful motor delivering 215 hp (160 kW / 218 PS). While details about the upcoming JCW variant remain undisclosed, reports suggest it will utilize the Cooper SE's battery pack and feature an upgraded motor producing around 247 hp (184 kW / 250 PS).
