In addition to the 50 states, there are also several territories and other regions that are part of the United States. These include Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, and Palau.

Furthermore, there are also military installations and bases located around the world that are considered part of the United States. These include the Armed Forces Americas, the Armed Forces Pacific, the Armed Forces Europe, the Marshall Islands, and the Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Yukon Territory regions in Canada.

Each state and territory in the United States also has its own unique postal code system. These postal codes are used to help facilitate the delivery of mail and packages to specific locations within each state or territory.
