EGO POWER, known for its electric lawn care tools, is now introducing an electric mini bike. This new addition to their catalog offers a more exciting experience compared to their work-focused tools. The EGO POWER+ Mini Bike utilizes the same lithium-ion battery packs that power their leaf blowers, allowing riders to enjoy a thrilling ride.

However, it's important to note that the mini bike is not street legal and should only be used on dirt trails and off-road areas. With a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h), it would be challenging to keep up with traffic on regular roads.

Rather than commuting, riders are more likely to have fun off-roading with this mini bike's cute little off-road tires.

The mini bike is powered by two 56V 7.5Ah ARC Lithium batteries from EGO, providing a maximum range of up to 18 miles (29 km) with 840 Wh of battery capacity. It offers three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. The 18-mile range is most likely measured in Eco mode. Additionally, the mini bike features a reverse mode, which is useful considering its size.

Despite its toy-like appearance, the mini bike is well-equipped. It boasts full suspension and hydraulic brakes, ensuring a decent ride experience with its modified lawn mower parts.

While the power of the rear hub motor is yet to be determined, reaching 28 mph (45 km/h) on a mini bike of this size would undoubtedly feel exhilarating.

As for the price and availability of the mini bike, details are currently limited. EGO has not provided concrete information or released any images. However, it is expected to be available for purchase in the near future.

Although not the first electric mini bike on the market, the EGO mini bike stands out for its use of lawn mower batteries as a power source. Other electric mini bikes have been designed for road use, such as Tromox's small electric motorcycles and CSC's City Slicker. Even Honda has shown interest in the market by patenting a small electric Grom motorcycle.

An off-road mini bike like the EGO mini bike can provide a lot of fun, especially for those with land to explore. With swappable batteries, the 18-mile range can be extended as far as desired.

Just remember not to use up all the battery packs in one go, especially on the same day you need to mow your lawn. Otherwise, you'll have one chore left on your Honey-Do list.
