Inspired by the interplay between natural landscapes and contemporary architecture, the EV5 is a smaller version of the EV9. It shares a similar size to the Sportage, but with its own unique design elements. The EV5 features striking LED lighting that wraps around the front fascia and below the hood. Instead of a traditional grille, Kia has opted for a digital 'Tiger Face' design. The three-dimensional Signature Star Map Lighting adds a touch of celestial inspiration, reminiscent of star-studded constellations. The EV5 also shares some design cues with the EV9, such as flush-fitting door handles and a rising beltline from the C-pillar. The wide shoulder lines, powerful fenders, and pushed-back D-pillars give the EV5 a strong and muscular appearance.
At the rear of the EV5, the taillights stretch almost entirely across the body, distinguishing it from the EV9. This design choice creates a sleek and modern look. Additionally, the EV5 features a lowered spoiler and a skid plate positioned lower down. These elements not only enhance the vehicle's aerodynamics but also add to its sporty appeal. The EV5 will be available in nine glossy colors and one matte shade, allowing customers to choose a color that suits their personal style.
