【Summary】Lexus has launched the all-new LM, a luxury MPV, in the UK. The self-charging hybrid electric vehicle offers supreme luxury and can serve as a flexible, mobile office. The LM is available in two versions, with four or seven seats, and features a range of high-end amenities, including a 48-inch ultra-widescreen monitor, a Mark Levinson 3D Surround Sound audio system, and a sophisticated climate control system. The LM is built on Lexus's GA-K platform, which contributes to a smooth and quiet ride.
Lexus is introducing a new luxury MPV called the LM to its UK model line-up. This self-charging hybrid electric vehicle focuses on supreme luxury and is now available to order. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. The automaker describes the LM as a "luxury mover" that embodies Lexus omotenashi hospitality.
The addition of the LM and the LBX "breakthrough crossover" in 2024 will give Lexus its strongest model range in the UK, covering SUVs, saloons, sports models, and people carriers.
The LM was designed to have a dual personality, providing a relaxing living space while also functioning as a mobile office for those who need to work on the go.
There are two versions of the LM available: a four-seat model and a seven-seat model. The seven-seat model prioritizes space and accessible functions for the middle row of two VIP seats. It also includes a third row with flip-up seats that can be folded away to create more load space. The four-seat Takumi model offers ultimate luxury with two multi-function rear seats and a range of features for a supremely comfortable journey.
The interior of the LM reflects Lexus's vision of personalized luxury. The seats are designed for perfect support and comfort, and the cabin environment is precisely controlled for temperature, air quality, and lighting. Multiple connectivity and entertainment options are easily accessible, including a bespoke Mark Levinson 3D Surround Sound audio system and a 48-inch HD ultra-widescreen monitor in the four-seat model.
The LM prioritizes comfort, providing a smooth and quiet ride. Lexus has used its GA-K global passenger car platform for the model, which contributes to the low center of gravity and high body rigidity. The LM also features a new Rear Comfort drive mode, improved braking and body control systems, and refined suspension performance to enhance the driving experience.
Three versions of the LM are available: the seven-seat LM with front or all-wheel drive, and the top specification LM Takumi with two rear seats.
