Motorbike collision sends two teens to hospital

Two teenagers have been hospitalized following a collision between a motorbike and a Mercedes in Glasgow. The incident occurred on Keppochhill Road at approximately 1.55am on Tuesday. The collision involved a Honda motorcycle and a Mercedes.

Both the 18-year-old and 19-year-old individuals who were riding the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and were promptly transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Mercedes, however, escaped the accident unharmed. Following the incident, the road was closed in both directions for a duration of five hours to facilitate investigations. Fortunately, the road has since reopened.

Inspector Hugh Niccolls stated, "We are currently conducting inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. We urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses dash-cam footage to contact us without delay. Your assistance may provide crucial information for our investigation."
