Neighbour's Porsche ruined after driving through garden
【Summary】A neighbour drove through another person's garden to park his Porsche, but the victim got revenge by installing a metal fence that damaged the car and caused the neighbour to receive a ticket for damaging their property. Users praised the victim for standing up against the entitled neighbour.
A social media user has gained praise for taking revenge on his "entitled" neighbor who would drive through his garden to park his cars. The neighbor, named Richard, used to park his Porsche in the backyard and would drive beyond the separation line of the two houses to do so. However, the user's next-door neighbor, fed up with Richard's inconsiderate behavior, decided to take action to prevent it from happening.
Recalling the incident on Reddit, the user, @LnGass, shared that their parents had lived in the same house for 50 years, with three different neighbors on the north side during that time. The first neighbor was a hermit named Elenore, who passed away when the user was in high school. After a few years, Richard bought the property and became their new neighbor.
One day, the user returned home to find Richard cutting down the bushes on their property. They confronted him, explaining that those were their bushes and they were not happy about it. Richard, however, didn't care and claimed that he needed to do it in order to park his cars in the backyard. The user's father suggested that Richard could use the curb cut out on the other side of his house for easy access to the backyard, as the original builder intended. But Richard stormed off and the next day, the bush had disappeared.
With the bushes gone, Richard began driving his cars through their property and into the backyard. The neighbors confronted Richard about his behavior, but he showed complete disregard. Frustrated, the neighbors decided to install a metal fence to mark the property line and prevent Richard from damaging their lawn. They placed the metal fence posts 5 inches on their side of the property line, making it difficult for Richard to get anything past them.
When Richard returned home and saw the newly installed fence, he expressed his anger by cursing and yelling for hours. He managed to get one of his cars out, but not without causing serious damage to the side of the vehicle. Unfortunately for Richard, his abrupt response not only damaged his car but also skewed the neighbor's fence, causing it to lean towards their property.
To make matters worse for Richard, the neighbors called the police and reported the damage to their property. Richard was issued a ticket for his actions. Users on Reddit praised the neighbors for their courage and agreed that Richard's behavior was unacceptable. Some even joked about suing over the bushes, referring to the "tree law" crowd.
Overall, this story highlights the frustrations that can arise from dealing with inconsiderate neighbors and the creative ways people may resort to seeking revenge or protecting their property.
