Neighbour's Porsche ruined after revenge for driving through garden

A social media user has gained praise for taking revenge on his entitled neighbour who would drive through his garden to park his cars. The neighbour, named Richard, used to park his Porsche in the backyard and would drive beyond the separation line of the two houses to do so.

However, the user's next-door neighbour had finally had enough of Richard's inconsiderate behavior and decided to take action. The user, who goes by the handle @LnGass, shared the story on Reddit, explaining that his parents had lived in the same house for 50 years and had three different neighbours on the north side during that time.

The first neighbour was a little old woman named Elenore, who was a hermit and scared the young kids in the neighborhood. She passed away when the user was in high school, and Richard became the new neighbor.

One day, the user returned home to find Richard cutting down the bushes on their property. The user and his father confronted Richard, informing him that those were their bushes and they were not happy about it. They suggested that Richard use the curb cut out on the other side of his house, which would provide a straight access to his backyard as intended by the original builder.

However, Richard didn't care about their concerns and insisted that he needed to cut down the bushes to park his cars in the backyard. The next day, the bush was gone, and Richard began driving his cars through their property and into the backyard for the night.

Fed up with Richard's behavior, the neighbours decided to install a metal fence to mark the property line and prevent Richard from ruining their lawn. They placed the fence posts 5 inches on their side of the property line, leaving very little room for Richard to maneuver his cars past them.

When Richard returned home and saw the metal fence, he expressed his frustration by cursing and yelling for hours. He managed to get one of his cars out, but it suffered serious damage and had scrapes along the side.

Not only did Richard's response damage his car, but it also caused the newly installed fence to lean toward their property. The neighbours called the police and Richard was given a ticket for damaging their property.

Many users praised the courageous neighbours in the Reddit comments, agreeing that Richard's behavior was completely out of order. Some even suggested that the neighbours should have sued over the bushes, as it would have been entertaining to see the outcome.

Another user humorously remarked that they had never met a Richard who wasn't a complete tool, suggesting that Richard's behavior was not surprising.
