【Summary】Pininfarina has unveiled the B95, an open-top electric hypercar with 1,877 horsepower. Priced at $4.78 million, only 10 examples will be made. The car showcases retro-futuristic style and features a unique design with electronically adjustable aero screens instead of a windshield. It can reach speeds of 186 mph and has a 120 kWh battery. The interior can be customized, and each car will be unique.
Pininfarina made a big splash at Monterey Car Week with the unveiling of their latest creation. This stunning new hypercar, named the B95, is a roofless beauty that comes with a hefty price tag of $4.78 million. Only 10 of these handcrafted rides will be produced, adding to their exclusivity.
The B95 showcases Pininfarina's new PURA design philosophy, which combines classic proportions and intricate detailing with cutting-edge technology. The name "B95" is derived from the Italian word "barchetta," meaning "little boat," and represents the open-top body of the car. With its sleek lines and glossy Bronzo Superga paint, accented by gold metallic flakes and black exposed carbon detailing, the B95 is a sight to behold. The forged aluminum wheels complement the overall aesthetic.
One unique feature of the B95 is its lack of a traditional windshield. Instead, Pininfarina has equipped the car with "the world's first electronically adjustable aero screens." These clear polycarbonate panels, inspired by vintage fighter planes, can be raised or lowered by the driver. They not only protect passengers from fast-moving air but also add to the car's minimalist design.
Under the hood, the B95 shares the same powertrain as the Battista hyper GT but has been tuned by Pininfarina. With four individual motors, this electric vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than two seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. Its 120 kWh lithium-ion battery can be charged from 20% to 80% capacity in just 25 minutes using a DC fast charger. While the exact range of the B95 hasn't been specified, the Battista can cover 300 miles on a single charge.
The interior of the B95 is just as luxurious as its exterior. Tan leather covers the sculptural dashboard and enveloping race seats, creating a sophisticated and comfortable cabin. Black aluminum accents tie the interior and exterior together seamlessly.
What makes each of the 10 B95 examples truly special is the ability for collectors to customize their own car. From laser-engraved aluminum door plates to bespoke helmets, owners can add their personal touch to this remarkable vehicle. With its stunning design and impressive performance, the B95 is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
