Renaming Former Continental Russia Plant
【Summary】The Continental Kaluga tyre manufacturing facility in Russia has been renamed Cordiant Kaluga after S8 Capital acquired Continental AG's assets. The new name is effective from 17 August 2023 and the facility will focus on tyre production.
With the recent acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia by holding company S8 Capital, there have been some changes in the tyre manufacturing industry. The LLC Continental Kaluga tyre manufacturing facility, located in Kaluga, has undergone a name change and is now known as LLC Cordiant Kaluga. This change in legal name officially took effect on 17 August 2023.
As a result of this acquisition, LLC Cordiant Kaluga will now be responsible for tyre production at the former Continental plant in Kaluga. This plant is situated approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow, making it a strategically important location for tyre manufacturing.
