With the acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia by holding company S8 Capital, the tyre manufacturing facility known as LLC Continental Kaluga has undergone a name change. It is now officially called LLC Cordiant Kaluga. This change in legal name became effective on August 17, 2023. The main focus of the business will be the production of tyres at the former Continental plant, located approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow.
