Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 extended assessment
【Summary】Summary: The Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 long-term test was conducted to determine if the vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. However, it was found that the sporty performance badge did not achieve this. Despite this, the Skoda Enyaq vRS was still considered a great electric vehicle, offering practicality and performance. The Enyaq Coupe was visually distinct from its SUV sibling, resembling a slightly oversized saloon.
When we decided to test the Skoda Enyaq vRS, we wanted to see if adding a vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. After seven months with the car, we can say that it didn't live up to our expectations.
Despite adding an extra motor, increasing the power, and incorporating sporty features like sports seats and vRS styling, the Skoda Enyaq vRS failed to deliver the same level of practicality, performance, and fun that Skoda's vRS line is known for.
However, despite this disappointment, we found that the Skoda Enyaq vRS is still a great electric vehicle. It may not meet the expectations set by the vRS badge, but it excels as a family crossover, offering everything you would want from an electric or non-electric car.
In terms of aesthetics, the Enyaq vRS Coupe stands out from its SUV counterpart. With its slightly oversized saloon-like appearance, it adds a touch of visual excitement to the overall experience.
