Swift's 4 Series models now available

The new Voyager 4 Series motorhomes are now available on a 3,500kg chassis, making them suitable for those with a standard Class B car license. What's even better is that these motorhomes are priced under £70,000. With a length of 7.54m, they are a typical size for fixed bed motorhomes.

Despite their affordable price tags, these new vehicles come with a comprehensive specification and a very short list of optional extras. The only extras that can be added at the factory are the automatic transmission and SwiftShield soft furnishings. However, your dealer can add an awning, bike rack, and roof air-conditioning if desired.

The 4 Series range of motorhomes comes with a generous amount of standard equipment. This includes an external cold water shower, outside barbecue point, habitation door with window and central locking, a 100W solar panel, reversing camera, cab blinds, Isofix on rear seats, and Duvalay Duvalite Alto mattresses. These mattresses are made with memory fibre for increased airflow and cooler, more comfortable sleeping. Other standard features include a 133-litre automatic energy selection fridge with a removable freezer section, a Thetford Triplex cooker with a mains hotplate, and a dual-fuel Truma Combi with Crash Sensor Mono for en route use of the heating. The Winter Pack includes tank heaters for the underslung fresh and waste tanks, which have capacities of 110 litres and 85 litres respectively. For added security, the VIN Chip identification system is included to deter theft, and a 10-year bodyshell warranty provides peace of mind.

The Ford base vehicle that these motorhomes are built on comes with all the necessary equipment. It includes a 155bhp motor, a Magnetic Grey cab with a colour-coded bumper, a Zenec Xzent infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, air-conditioning, cruise control, ESC with Load adaptive Control and Roll Stability Control, stop/start functionality, and front fog lamps.
