Toyota Rumion: Bookings Open for New Model
【Summary】Toyota has launched the Rumion MPV in India, with prices starting at Rs 10.29 lakh. Bookings are now open, and deliveries are set to begin on September 8th. It will compete with models such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6, as well as the Kia Carens in the segment.
Toyota has officially announced the start of bookings and the prices of the new Toyota Rumion. The MPV is priced at Rs 10.29 lakh onwards, ex-showroom, and is available in six grades. Toyota says that deliveries will commence from the 8th of September onwards.
The Toyota Rumion is offered in various grades with different price points. The prices are as follows:

This 7-seater MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine, which produces 102bhp and 137Nm of torque. In CNG form, the engine delivers 87bhp and 122Nm of torque. The Toyota Rumion offers both manual and torque converter automatic gearbox options.
The interior of the new Toyota Rumion features a 7-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. It also has Toyota i-Connect, which allows users to control the climate control and other functions remotely. The MPV offers connected car technology and other features. The interior is designed with a dual-tone theme and wood inserts.
In terms of safety, the Rumion is equipped with dual front and side airbags, ABS with EBD, an engine immobilizer, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and more. The Rumion will compete against its sibling, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6, as well as the Kia Carens and other competitors in the segment.
