Toyota Teases Electric FJ Cruiser Replacement

Let's begin by clarifying that the car shown in the image is not the Compact Cruiser concept. Although it had an impressive design, the original concept was smaller and intended for the compact SUV market. The SUV in the image appears to be 20% to 30% larger, potentially positioning it as a competitor to the upcoming Rivian R2.

Now, let's shift our attention to the other vehicle hiding in the shadows. It bears a striking resemblance to the bZ5X, a three-row electric SUV. Toyota has previously confirmed plans to manufacture a three-row electric SUV in the USA, and the length of the teased vehicle seems to align with that. However, there are a couple of factors that challenge the theory that this is the US-bound bZ5X. Firstly, the international presentation featured the teaser image, not the American one. Secondly, the area behind the C-pillar does not match the original concept. To get more information, we will have to wait for updates from Toyota. Fortunately, we anticipate that we won't have to wait for long.
