VW Teases A "Unique Car"
【Summary】Volkswagen is teasing the return of the Rabbit with a cryptic video on social media. They have been working on a "very special vehicle" and will unveil it in six days. Possibilities include a hotter Golf R or a special edition. Additionally, Volkswagen is preparing to release a facelifted Golf with updates to the exterior and interior.
Cryptic teasers are a popular marketing tactic for automakers, and Volkswagen is the latest to join in on the fun. The company recently released a teaser video featuring a white rabbit, hinting at the return of the Rabbit.
Although Volkswagen has not provided any concrete details, they did mention that they have been working on a special vehicle. A countdown suggests that the mysterious vehicle will be unveiled in six days, on September 3.
While there is no official confirmation, there are a few possibilities that come to mind. Spy photographers spotted a hotter Golf R undergoing testing last fall, equipped with canards. Sources have referred to it as a "special" car.
Another potential option is a special edition of the facelifted Golf. Numerous prototypes of the updated model have been spotted with minimal camouflage, showcasing an evolutionary front bumper and slimmer headlights.
Inside the cabin, prototypes have been seen with a larger, free-standing display, possibly measuring 15 inches. There have also been sightings of a revised steering wheel with physical switchgear.
