2 Beers Sold by Elon Musk for $150
【Summary】Tesla is selling a limited-edition set of two beers and two ceramic steins for $150. The steins are designed to mimic the form of the Cybertruck. This follows Tesla's previous launches of a $30 GigaBier and a $250 bottle of branded tequila.
Tesla is offering a special limited-edition set of beers and ceramic steins for sale at a price of $150. The steins are designed to resemble the unique shape of the Cybertruck. This follows Tesla's previous release of the $30 GigaBier in March, which was created to celebrate the delayed opening of the Berlin factory.
The new set includes two 11-ounce bottles of Tesla CyberBeer, described as a "Helles Lager" with flavors of herb, spice, tea, and citrus. Along with the beer, customers will receive two matte-black ceramic CyberSteins that mimic the futuristic design of the Cybertruck. Tesla plans to begin shipping orders for the beer in late October.
In addition to the beer offerings, Tesla has previously released a $250 bottle of branded tequila in a distinctive lightning-bolt shaped bottle. This release came two years after Tesla CEO Elon Musk jokingly mentioned "Teslaquilla" in a tweet. However, Tesla faced obstacles in naming the tequila, as the term "Teslaquila" was deemed too similar to the word tequila and did not meet industry regulations.
Insider reached out to Tesla for comment but did not receive an immediate response as it was outside of normal working hours.
