Aluminum Car's Porsche 718 RSK Silhouette Required 2,500 Hours to Complete
【Summary】A hand-made aluminum car, the Runge RS, took 2,500 hours to build. It features a tube frame chassis, a shiny body similar to the Dodge Viper, and a design inspired by the classic Porsche 718 race car.
Runge Cars is known for producing exceptional vehicles, and the Runge RS is no exception. Unlike the powerful American muscle cars we often see, the Runge RS is a smaller and more subdued car. Its standout feature is the all-aluminum handmade body, reminiscent of the sleek Dodge Viper also crafted by Chris Runge, the owner of the company.
The Runge RS is built on a tube frame chassis with a wheelbase of 83 inches. The aim was to capture the essence of late '50s race car design, and Chris dedicated 2,500 hours to bring this vision to life. The result is a stunning sports car that turns heads, with a silhouette inspired by the iconic Porsche 718 race car that first competed in the 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans.
