Honda and Acura have announced their decision to adopt the Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector, joining forces with the popular electric vehicle manufacturer. While no official statement or timeline has been released by the brands, this move is dependent on GM's plans for their upcoming EVs.

In recent research, scientists have demonstrated the potential of using artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize the efficiency of solar cells in electric vehicles. By harnessing AI technology, the range of solar EVs could be significantly increased, making them a more viable option in the business world. Although still in the research stage, this development shows promise for the future of solar-supplemented EVs.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed the official efficiency and range figures for various versions of the GMC Hummer EV. Unfortunately, some versions of the Hummer EV have received the lowest rating for any EV currently on the market, with a combined MPGe of just 50. However, it's important to note that even with this rating, the Hummer EV still outperforms a gasoline car that achieves 50 mpg in terms of emissions over the long run.
