Citroën unveils prices for updated lineup

Citroën UK has unveiled the pricing details for its updated model range, introducing three new trim levels named YOU!, PLUS, and MAX. This move is aimed at achieving a more balanced pricing policy. The YOU! trim level is available on all Citroën passenger cars, except for ë-Berlingo and ë-SpaceTourer.

The car manufacturer stated that this redefinition of trim levels has resulted in a more concise range, making it easier for customers to understand the different specifications and options available. For instance, the entry-level YOU! trim for the C4 and C4 X models starts from £19,495 OTR and includes features such as Advanced Comfort Suspension, Advanced Comfort Seats, and a 10-inch touchscreen with DAB digital radio, Bluetooth® connectivity, and smartphone mirroring using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The YOU! trim level also offers safety systems like Active Safety Brake and Lane Departure Warning, as well as driving assistance systems including cruise control, Speed Sign Recognition and Recommendation, and rear parking sensors.

The PLUS trim, available for the C4 and C4 X models, includes a rear-view camera and connected navigation. The C4 and C4 X in PLUS trim are priced from £23,530 and £24,935 respectively and come with additional features like natural voice recognition, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, a 10-inch touchscreen, and Citroën's Connect Box Emergency & Assistance system.

Drivers of C4 and C4 X in PLUS trim also receive a one-year trial subscription to Citroën Connect PLUS services, which include real-time traffic and speed camera alerts.

The MAX trim level offers an upgrade that includes keyless access and adaptive cruise control (available on automatic and electric versions). The C4 and C4 X in MAX trim are priced from £25,420 and £26,820 respectively and are further enhanced with dark-tinted rear windows and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

In addition to the new trim levels, Citroën will continue to offer specific additional collections, such as the ë-Series collection for ë-C4 and ë-C4 X models. The ë-Series trim, starting at £36,295, offers even more features and enhanced levels of style and technology, including a bi-tone roof, a heated steering wheel, wireless induction smartphone charging, heated front seats, and an upgraded Citroën HiFi system. The ë-Series versions also come with Citroën's Dark Chrome Colour Pack applied to the front bumper inserts and Airbump panels.

Citroën stated that this redesigned product range will improve the purchasing experience for customers, while also reducing costs and delivery times. The company has also made its website more user-friendly and functional, and has enhanced stock management, production, and cost controls through the rationalization of its manufacturing processes. This not only ensures fair pricing but also shorter delivery times.
