Former Continental Russia plant renamed
【Summary】The former Continental Russia plant has been renamed Cordiant Kaluga after being acquired by S8 Capital. The new company will focus on tyre production at the Kaluga plant.
Following the acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia by holding company S8 Capital, the tyre manufacturing facility in Kaluga has undergone a name change. The facility, previously known as LLC Continental Kaluga, is now called LLC Cordiant Kaluga. The new legal name officially came into effect on August 17, 2023. LLC Cordiant Kaluga will primarily focus on tyre production at the former Continental plant, which is located approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow.
