Two individuals are currently in serious condition in the hospital following a car accident at a campsite in west Wales. The incident occurred when a blue Ford Fiesta, carrying multiple passengers, veered off the road and collided with people and a tent at the Newgale campsite on the Pembrokeshire coast. The accident took place shortly after 10:30 pm on Saturday, resulting in injuries to nine people, including the occupants of the car.

According to Clare Harris, who manages the campsite with her husband Mike, the car was speeding downhill and attempted to brake but failed. As a result, it flipped and rolled multiple times before crashing into the tent. Fortunately, a young child, a baby, was inside the tent at the time but escaped unharmed. Harris referred to the incident as a tragic accident currently being handled by the police.

One person was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, as reported by the Welsh Ambulance Service, with assistance from HM Coastguard. The car was traveling from Roch to St Davids when it veered off the A487 road. Dyfed Powys Police have announced that the road was temporarily closed for investigation and reopened at approximately 7:45 am the following day.

The police are urging anyone with information about the incident, specifically regarding the blue Ford Fiesta and its occupants, to come forward. They are particularly interested in obtaining dashcam footage or doorbell footage that may have captured the vehicle's journey from Roch to the scene of the collision at Newgale.
