Maeving RM1S Speeds Ahead at 65mph

Maeving is preparing to launch a new and improved version of its RM1 electric motorcycle, known as the RM1S. The announcement was made through a message sent to existing Maeving customers on the morning of August 22, 2023. According to the message, the RM1S will boast a top speed of 65mph, which is 20mph faster than the standard model.

The message expressed that the RM1S is the fastest and most powerful electric motorcycle offered by Maeving. It also mentioned that the company wanted to inform customers who had previously expressed interest in a faster model about the upcoming launch. Unfortunately, for those who did not express such interest, the wait for the pre-order page to open will be a bit longer.

Last year, Maeving introduced the RM1 as its first model. The retro-styled bike aimed to evoke nostalgia for the motorcycle manufacturing heritage of the English Midlands, particularly Coventry, where Maeving is headquartered.

While the top speed of the RM1S has been revealed, other details about the new model remain a mystery. It is expected that the increased top speed will be accompanied by more power and possibly more torque from the motor. However, it is unclear whether the RM1S will be lighter than the standard version or if there will be any changes to its chassis specifications.

Speculation suggests that the RM1S may also feature a more sporty visual design, but this is yet to be confirmed.
