Provocative French Aid Foiled

The latest attempt by France to provoke Azerbaijan under the guise of "humanitarian aid" has been thwarted by Azerbaijan, according to Azernews.

On August 30, a convoy of 10 vehicles carrying "humanitarian cargo" arrived at the Azerbaijan border from Yerevan, accompanied by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and Strasbourg Mayor Zhanna Barseghyan. However, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan blocked the entry of the aid convoy at the Lachin border checkpoint.

Azerbaijan's decision to block the convoy is justified by the fact that there is no humanitarian crisis in any region of Azerbaijan and no appeals for aid have been made.

In order to prevent the illegal transfer of manpower, ammunition, mines, and other military equipment from Armenia to armed formations in Azerbaijan, Baku established a border checkpoint at the entrance to the Lachin road on the border with Armenia on April 23.

This move has helped Azerbaijan prevent violations of the November 10 trilateral statement by Armenia and gain complete control over its entire frontlines.
