Rising used car prices: Shock model tops Auto Trader's list

According to Auto Trader's latest Retail Price Index, used car retail prices have been consistently rising for 41 months in a row. This indicates a strong demand for pre-owned cars in the market.
Using the same data, we can now identify the used car models that have experienced the biggest value increases this month. The figures, which analyze cars sold in the month ending August 20, reveal that the Peugeot Partner Teepee has seen the most significant rise, with a year-on-year increase of 17.1%.
The top 10 list is mainly composed of small, affordable cars. Models like the Fiat Panda, Volkswagen Beetle, and Hyundai i30 have all made it to the list. There are also entries from Volkswagen, Citroen, and Hyundai, with the Mercedes SL Class being the only premium brand model to appear.
